a couple weekends ago we spent some time at the rock house with family. we love being up there and we love family.

nothing is more summer to me than the fourth of july. and this year was as good as ever! we started the morning off a the parade and then went to a carnival, then swimming and a family bbq and finished the night with fireworks. it was amazing from beginning to end. 

san francisco part two

early morning. farmers market. chocolate banana croissant heaven. oj. carsick. windy roads. lucky parking. muir woods. gasping. stroller hate. mini hazel. pictures. stroller naps. kisses. crazies. windy roads. reaaallly car sick. wrong way. muir beach lookout. worth it. OCEAN. giggles. green grass. cool people. dreaming of moving. tour bus. more windy roads. more carsickness. beach town. grocery store. chips, string cheese, cliff bars and gatorade for lunch. stinson beach. ewie sand. no shoes off. shoes off anyway. scared hazel. sunshine. beach loving. kites. stupid seagulls. granola bar. freezing water. flying kites. happy happy happy. long windy roads for the last time. carsick. naps in the car. golden gate bridge. breathtaking. lost shoe. stairs. stairs. stairs. pictures. europeans. painted ladies. what ever happened to predictability. park. happy girl. hungry tummies. pizza and diaper drama. still hungry. ice cream, smoothies, hot wings, spinach artichoke dip, and root beer. family snuggles and good night. 

we loved being in san francisco but I have to admit that we liked our time out of the city even more. breathtaking views and relaxation are always the top of my list... and i guess it helps that hazel was in a much better mood than she was the first day. we crammed a lot in on our little weekend trip and we were exhausted when we got home. but we had an incredible time.

and that sums up day one. whoa. it was a big day. little miss cranky pants wasn't sure about it all, but we sure had fun time!
