social awkwardness

do you ever have those times when you say something that you don't actually even think but you've recently had a bad experience with that certain thing? like say on monday you had olive garden and the salad was really soggy so on friday when you're asked to go to olive garden you get all weird and huffy and are like "ew no I hate olive garden, their salad tastes like feet!" when in actuality you love their salad and could eat it for every meal every day? that's been the story of my life lately. at church, with friends, family, a random lady at the store... you name it. not only that but i'm lacking all social skills. people will talk to me and I'll look at then for a whole minute before even responding. i swear im getting up there with michel scott in awkwardness. i mean i've always been awkward but its getting kinda redic. what is wrong with me? i think i have a case of new-mom-sitting-home-alone-all-day-with-a-baby-itis. symptoms include tiredness, overexcited mommy voice and extreme social awkwardness. but truth be told, if thats the price i have to pay to play with this baby face all day long... id pay it again and again and again. im completely obsessed.
