trick-or-treat

i haven't yet decided if halloween was a trick or treat this year. we had such a good night, but not without a terrifying experience. first of all, let me just say having a kid makes everything so much more fun! hazel was the cutest little lady bug around and loved to wear her costume. we did a bunch of trick-or-treating and hazel soon caught on. at one house the little old lady told hazel to grab a piece herself and hazel grabbed one, and then another, and after about ten pieces she decided that was enough. atta girl hazel. we of course stopped at my parents for chili and some family time. this is usually my favorite part of the night, but after posing on the porch for a few minutes for a family picture i turned around and saw the biggest spider in existence. and no, i'm not exaggerating. i was disturbed to say the least (to this day i wont stand on my parents porch), but only to become more disturbed when i went back through the pictures and saw in each picture the massive spider inching closer to me! gahhhhh. i would show you, but i've decided for my sanity to never look at the photos again. happy halloween peeps. i hope it wasn't as spooky for you as it was for me!!!

now lets bust out the tinsel and turn on some christmas music!!!
